Apex Arts is actively opposed to all forms of discrimination. It is therefore committed to the principle that no group or individual member, staff member, trustee, job applicant, artist, audience member or visitor shall be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, age, religious belief, disability, race, colour, nationality, or national or ethnic origin.
Apex Arts is committed to promoting events, exhibitions, workshops, meetings and performances that reflect the cultural and educational needs and diversity of the community and to implementing these principles in its funding allocations.
Each employee, trustee, group or individual member, user and user-group has the responsibility to ensure that this policy is implemented. The Board of Trustees and Staff of Apex Arts have the additional responsibility of ensuring that all of these people understand their rights and obligations under this policy.
